Guido Henneböhl makes his own instruments out of old digital keyboards, measuring instruments and toys. Keith O'Brien plays guitar through his own computer programs. Brendan Dougherty plays drums and cymbals. Alexandra von Bolz'n sings, recites, growls and turns it into a rock band theater piece. The idiot switch sound comes as much from the unique intrinsic sounds of our instruments as by the musical personalities of the performers.
Past apperances include Borealis Festival (Norway), Politics of Excstast Festival - Hebbel am Ufer (Berlin), Zirkus Festival (Austria) and the band has collaborated and performed with Didi Bruckmayr (Fuckhead), Jochen Arbeit (Einstürzende Neubauten), Ron Athey, Jeremy Wade and Meg Stuart.
